Particularities of transporting goods intended for personal use

Accompanied luggage
Goods intended for personal use, including carry-on baggage, transported directly by an individual who is crossing the customs border. |
Unaccompanied luggage
Goods intended for personal use, owned by an individual, handed over to a carrier based on an international transport (freight forwarding) contract for actual movement across the customs border in connection with that individual's entering the territory of the customs union or leaving the territory of the customs union. |
1) Particularities of moving the goods intended for personal use for the period of the championship as accompanied luggage
Participants of the event, i.e. foreign individuals (physical persons) who carry the goods intended for the arrangement of the event, are allowed to import temporarily previously used goods intended for personal use, including sportive gear and accessories for sports and tourism, into the territory of the Customs Union, as they are relieved from the customs duty for such goods.
The individuals must file customs declarations for the goods intended for personal use when presenting the goods to the customs authorities when they actually cross the customs border.
2) Particularities of moving the goods intended for personal use for the period of the championship as unaccompanied luggage (using the transport company service or mail service)
Limited Liability Company DB Schenker, based in Belarus, is ready to provide any assistance in transporting the goods into the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and perform the necessary customs clearance procedures (temporary import based on a proforma invoice, Carnet ATA; formal paperwork for free circulation of the goods in the territory of the Republic of Belarus).
We ask that you discuss all documents related to the freight (lists of goods intended for personal use, proforma invoice, Carnet ATA forms) with an employee of LLC DB Schenker, Belarus, in advance.

CARNET ATA:
The list of goods must include the following information:
- Short description of the goods
- Unit price of the goods
- Total value of the goods
- Number of transport packages
- Quantity of the goods
- Country of origin of the goods
- Customs code
- Serial number (IMPORTANT! You have to put in some designation of the goods, even if there is no serial number in the goods.)
Important!!!
The list must only include the goods that will be re-exported (i.e. returned) after the event! Any disposable items or consumable materials (insulating tape, scotch, stationery, office supplies etc.) must not be shown in the Carnet ATA. All consumable or disposable items must be transported with a separate proforma invoice, and you will have to pay customs duties in the territory of Belarus after importing them!!!
For the purpose of filing the customs declaration, we will need a power of attorney from the holder of the Carnet ATA. Please send the original copy of the power of attorney together with the accompanying documents for the goods.
To make sure that the goods pass the customs clearance in Belarus without complications, we strongly recommend that you send us the documents so we can check them, before you actually send the goods!
